Casting with JIC
At JUST IN CAST, we conduct project-based castings according to each client’s individual specifications. For this process, we use a combination of tried and tested casting systems:
Live / Video Casting
Once we have received the client’s specifications, we put out an appropriate casting call to different regional agencies, or nationally if required. From the applications we receive, we create a pre-selection of sedcards and send them to our client. The client then selects their favourite applicants, whom we invite to a live casting.
Facts: the complete live / video casting package includes:
- Collection of applicants and creation of sedcard suggestions through calls to different agencies
- Creation of a pre-selection of sedcards
- Scheduling and coordination of castings with agencies and applicants
- Organisation of casting locations / venues
- Booking a casting director for the casting day(s)
- Casting videos of applicants, including camera person and equipment
- Editing, naming and upload of video material for the client
- Arranging and booking the client’s favourite applicants
E-Casting
According to the client briefing, we create a casting call for different agencies in the relevant region, or nationally if desired. We compile a selection of applicants and send their sedcards to the client. The client selects applicants for e-casting and informs us how many e-castings they would like to receive for each role.
Facts: the complete e-casting package includes:
- Collection of initial sedcard suggestions through calls to different agencies
- Creation of a pre-selection of sedcards
- Creation of guidelines for e-castings for selected applicants, including applicant briefing
- Collection and sorting of incoming e-casting videos
- Organisation and naming of videos for the client
- Arranging and booking the client’s favourite applicants
Classic Casting
In the course of one of our casting projects, we draw up a shortlist of candidates based on your specifications. The complete classic casting package includes both the sourcing of candidates and the scheduling, coordination and organisation of a suitable location. You can then select your favourite candidates from our shortlist.
Street Casting
Our flexible scouts take your wishes and ideas to the streets, nationally and, if necessary, internationally. In the street-casting process, our scouts track down the perfect new faces for your project. This type of casting is especially recommended for a targeted search for individual personalities, or as a supplement to classic casting.
Casting Calls
We regularly publish our current casting projects and wanted ads on our website and give candidates the opportunity to submit a speculative application. In coordination with you, we can also use this option of our platform to reach possible candidates. This option is used exclusively as a supplement to the casting options listed above.
Internal Database
JUST IN CAST has both an extensive internal database of professional artists from various sectors and a pool of amateurs and semi-professionals from a wide range of categories. Searching within our own database forms the starting point of all our casting projects.
